      Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Camp is hiring for multiple positions. The mission of Camp OLOG is to form disciples of Jesus Christ through prayer, fellowship, scripture, and the Sacraments. We ask that our staff come to camp ready to grow deeper in their faith and live radically different than the world.

    • Lead Team Positions
      Program Lead: The Program Lead at Camp OLOG is responsible for all aspects of programming for the 2023 Camp Sessions. The main priority of this role is to lead the Camp program and program team on a day-to-day basis. The Program Lead will guide a team and together work as the overall emcee, coordinate morning and evening programs, coordinate talks, breakout sessions, skits, and fun large group games for campers to learn about the faith, grow closer to Jesus, and have fun in community. This person will be one of the key leaders at camp. He or she will need to be teachable, a confident and directive leader, and be able to work well on a team. 


      Discipleship Lead: The Discipleship Lead at Camp OLOG is responsible for most aspects of discipleship amongst the 2023 summer Staff. The main priority of this role is to coordinate the Mission Team, give guidance for discipleship small groups among staff and cabins, and coordinate studies for the summer. The discipleship Lead is responsible for coordinating camp activities and giving direction to Counselor Team and Mission team. This person will be one of the key leaders at Camp. He or she will need to be teachable, a confident and directive leader, and be able to work well on a team. 

      Administrative Lead: The Administrative Lead at Camp OLOG is responsible for most aspects of administration for the 2023 Summer Camp sessions. The main priority of this role is to manage communication for campers, camper's parents, and Camp staff. The Administrative Lead works closely with Logistics Lead to anticipate needs and provide strong communication to achieve our mission and vision at Camp. Through providing staff with needed information and helping to coordinate and adapt as needed, this lead is a strong and key player for the Summer Camp sessions. Administrative and Logistics Lead work together in leading and discipleship of the Service Team. This person will be one of the key leaders at camp. He or she will need to be teachable, a confident and directive leader, and be able to work well on a team. 

      Logistics Lead: The Logistics Lead at Camp OLOG is responsible for most aspects of organization and execution for the 2023 Summer Camp sessions. The main priority of this role is to coordinate the already-made schedule for camp and adapt as needed based on daily activities and weather. Logistics Lead coordinates and assigns tasks to the Camp OLOG Team (all staff) to achieve the desired goal for the day through communicating with other Leads. The Logistics Lead anticipates needs, provides strong leadership and coordination, and helps to make Camp a place of encounter. Logistics and Administrative Lead work together in leading and discipleship of the Service Team. This person will be one of the key leaders at camp. He or she will need to be teachable, a confident and directive leader, and be able to work well on a team. 

      *If you are applying for any position on Lead Team you must be 21 or older by May 25, 2022. 

    Program Teams
    • Mission Team
      Mission Team Member: Mission Team at Camp Our Lady of Guadalupe Summer Camp is responsible for many aspects of Camp. The main priority of this role is to successfully execute all instructions given by the Lead Team for camp programming.  Mission Team leads skits, creates a fun environment, and coordinates and leads camp activities such as fishing, hiking, archery, etc. Mission Team members are assigned to a specific cabin where they aid and work closely with the Counselor Team as needed, intercede for the cabins, and provide support. Mission Team will consist of 10-15 key members at Camp OLOG. Each member will need to be teachable, a leader and witness in discipleship, and be able to work well on a team. 

      *If you are applying for any position on Mission Team you must be 21 or older by May 25, 2022. 

      Service Team
      Service Team Member: A Service Team Member at Camp Our Lady of Guadalupe is responsible for serving camp throughout each camp session. The main priority of this role is logistics, preparing and serving meals, setting up and taking down for activities, anticipating needs, helping to make Camp a place of encounter, and serving the camp in a variety of different ways. Service Team Members will also be investing much time into their own spiritual growth and the growth of their team. Each member will need to be teachable, a leader and witness in discipleship, and be able to work well on a team. 

      *If you are applying to be on Service Team you must be 16 or older by May 25, 2022. 

    Counselor Team
    • Counselor Team
      Counselor: A Counselor at Camp Our Lady of Guadalupe is responsible for accompanying campers throughout each camp session. The main priority of this role is to supervise and ensure the safety, spiritual growth, and overall well-being of each camper. Counselors will lead their cabin in discipleship throughout the week, accompanying campers, growing in community, providing a space for encounter among the cabin, and leading them in small groups to live as missionary disciples after camp. Each counselor will need to be teachable, a leader and witness in discipleship, and be able to work well on a team. 

      *If you are applying to be on Counselor Team you must be 16 or older by May 25, 2022. 

    • Every employee is required to convey the Church’s message and to assist in carrying out the Church’s mission. The employee is required to uphold the standards of the Catholic Church in his/her day-to-day work and personal life. All employees are expected to be persons of integrity and must conduct themselves in an honest and open way, free from deception or corruption, and in a manner consistent with the discipline and teachings of the Catholic Church. Personnel are expected to follow rules of conduct that will protect the interests and safety of all, including the standards and policies set forth in the Archdiocesan Code of Conduct and other Archdiocesan Policies and Guidelines. Every employee of the Archdiocese is expected to exemplify a spirit of service to others, in words and actions, to support clergy and religious; volunteers; colleagues; parish communities, and all others in a compassionate, professional, truthful, and friendly manner. Whoever would be first among you must be a servant of all.(Mk 10:42-44; Mt 20: 25-28)
