Awaken is a retreat for High School youth leaders that takes place over spring break out at Camp OLOG. Retreatants experience spiritual formation, leadership training, and partake in a week centered on discussing and answering the tough questions of today. At Awaken, high schoolers get to dive deeper into the faith centered around prayer and the spiritual life. They also are formed to be leaders in high school and beyond. Retreatants will leave equipped with ways to elevate the world around them to Christ, living as missionary disciples!

Awaken Youth Leadership Retreat features powerful talks, breakout sessions, small group discussions, and an experience of an abundant Christian life. Come to Awaken to grow as a leader in evangelization by diving deeper into prayer, discipleship, and culture.

At Awaken, we dive deep into what an interior life is and how to nurture it to Spiritual Perfection just as the Saints did by focusing on:
- The interior life is essential to the Christian, especially in evangelization.
- All of our ministries must be an overflow from our personal relationship with the Lord
- The interior life is what makes a Saint great as at the center of all they do is Christ.
Evangelization
Join us to receive Formation in leadership for evangelization by learning and discussing:
- We all are given a call at our Baptism to join in the Great Commission in the great work of Evangelization.
- Evangelization to those who don't know Christ and on the New Evangelization.
- Learn how to share the gospel message and help others encounter Christ through relational ministry.
Culture
At Awaken join us for powerful talks and discussions in small groups on how to create a culture that cultivates Christ such as:
- Discussion on how to cultivate Christ with our friends and environments such as school, sports, clubs, and more.
- Focus on the culture of evangelization and start with what we are cultivating, relationships.
- Seeking out a meaningful life over the purposeful one our current culture today offers us.

Awaken pricing includes 5 days of leadership training, skills in the New Evangelization, and discussion on the transformation of Culture.
The price includes onsite housing in our cabins.
If you have specific cabin requests, those can be made during the registration process.All meals will be provided.
Scholarships are available. Please fill out the optional form in the registration portal if you are interested in applying for a scholarship.

Is Awaken similar to summer camp?
Awaken is at Camp OLOG and similar to camp such as having games and activities such as hiking, bonfire, etc. The retreat differs in that it is more focused on discussion and conference-style
How do I check in at Awaken?
Check-In will be at the Pavilion from 2:00-3:00 pm.
Retreatants can check themselves in but they must have written permission from a parent sent in prior to arrivalHow do I check out at Awaken?
Pick-Up will be Friday, 3:00-4:30 pm.
A valid ID is required to pick up your Camper. Only the authorized persons on the camper's registration will be allowed to pick up the camper.
If someone else will be picking up your camper we will need emailed permission from the legal parent/guardian.
If there is a need for an early pick-up, please notify Camp Staff at the beginning of Camp.
Even if you are the parent if your name is not included in the Camper's Household in CampBrain, you will not be allowed to pick up your camper.If I have a car can I drive myself?
Yes! If you are under the age of 18 you will need permission from your parents to check yourself into Awaken. If you are carpooling you will also need permission from your parent to do so. If you are over the age of 18 you will need to let us know if you are driving to Awaken so we can make sure we have enough spaces. Once you arrive your keys must be turned in at check-in and they will be returned at check outIf I need to cancel my registration, will I receive a full refund?
Prior to March 5th: Full refunds will be honored
After March 5th: All but the $100 deposit may be refunded
